New work.
Many Artists have used colour and tone to express themselves, I plan on using colour and tone within natural forms to create a series of paintings. Using the influence of the Artists Georgia O'Keeffe, Jackson Pollock and Hundertwasser. I am also using colour as a way as displaying my emotions within the subject of Natural forms.
I have begun to take pictures, and write down the different emotions different colours make me feel.

current work
I am currently working at my home in Chorley North West England. Finding it hard to continue with my practice as i am lacking the luxuries of having a studio space, and the facilities of my art school in London.
However i have been working on a sketch book and looking at new artists to be inspired by.
I have also been reading a variety of different books, ranging from Jackson Pollock to Gauguin.
I am very much so still interested in the natural world around me, and how it differs. Colour is important to me, i am going to experiment on a large scale which i feel will give me the encouragement to develop and take my ideas forward.
Hopefully i will have some new work to upload soon!!

Summer Time
During the summer i will be returning to preston for 2 and a half months. I will miss the studio and being in a creative environment, however i am going to continue my artwork, explore new ideas and influences and look at different interpretations of the world, and how art is different for everyone.

oil paint/exhibition
This week i have tried painting in oil paint for the first time. It has been somewhat a success and i may start to use oil instead of acrylic as a prefured medium. I will upload some pictures shortly.
Also my group exhibition in Putney went very well indeed. Everybody's work looked so different when taken out of the studio. It was a great success and hopefully be many for to come during the future. The photograph shows the painting that i put up for the exhibition.
